Yum, yum and yum! New Years Eve, this was the place to be. Well, it just so happened that this was the only restaurant that could fit our group of 13. Little did we know that it was meant to be! The food was excellent, the service was impeccable and everyone working there was incredibly nice. They went out of their way to make sure we had a fantastic meal and experience! Bar Agricola could be my new favorite place.
I’m not an olive person but these were so good. I about ate the whole plate.
Drinks drinks and more drinks! They were all amazing! Above is a photo of my favorite, Sleepyhead: brandy, ginger, mint, lime, sparkling wine.
Above is the classic Bourbon Old Fashioned: with two bitters
These were a little tease to our meal…little cheese puffs of heaven.
Simply Amazing: Dungeness Crab Salad with tardivo, avocado & buddha’s hand vinaigrette.
I didn’t try this dish but it got rave reviews: Lamb tartare with fermented juniper berry, mustard and capers.
Again…simply amazing!!!!!!!!!!!! Lamb loin, leg and belly with xinjiang spices, yogurt and bitter greens.
I didn’t try this dish either but I only heard great reviews: Black cod ‘in cartoccio’ with almond milk, lovage artichokes and black olives.
If you love chocolate and mint….this is your desert!!!!!! I tried to eat only a few bites but ended up eating every single bit. I couldn’t stop!
Chocolate pot de crème with cocoa nib, mint and absinthe.
I tried this dish too and it was perfect! Pear galette with pomegranate and crème fraiche.
At this point…we were stuffed beyond and then they sent us off with a little surprise.
White chocolate mint truffles. I could only eat half of one! That’s how rich they were.
Bar Argicole is my new favorite place. Check it out for yourself and see if it’s yours as well.
